T-9 Days For Mary

Estimated reading time: 2 minutes

What did Adam say on the day before Christmas? It’s Christmas, Eve!

It is definitely SoCal as the temperature is 72 degrees at 6:30 AM.  It is going to be a warm one today.  Mary called and said she was heading for the VA at 8:00 AM and I got up and went to the market. Shopping was interesting as I wandered up and down the aisles looking for things I desperately needed.

Back home I worked on the bills and remembered the quarterly taxes are due in about a month so I have to plan the bank heist at least two weeks ahead of time.

I did not eat well today, onion dip, and Special-K. Yuch!

An interesting sunset!

In the afternoon I created a website for our Catalina trip which I will link here when I make some corrections.

I began my errands at 4:00 PM and Mary called to say she was on the way home.  Amazing enough we arrived at Mary’s house within one minute of each other.

Tonight is bill pay night so I “cooked” dinner. Chicken Pot Pie and veggies.  Darn good if I say so myself.

We watched “Two And A Half Men” laughing through the entire 30 minutes.

We hit the sack early as tomorrow is a workday for Mary and I have two doctors’ appointments. We called each other at 10:30 PM to say goodnight.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
