Will glass coffins be a success? Remains to be seen!
Mary headed to the VA with a smile on her face as she planned to turn in her resignation/retirement notice. This means she only has a few more days to work before she is free. After the first of the year, we will have three more days together every week. I wonder if she is ready for that?
I, on the other hand, headed for home to attack my garage. It was embarrassing to open the garage. I gave Vicky a brand new microwave and a box of dolls and stuffed animals. I also donated two cases of TP which I do not need. She was delighted as her sister was in need to a new microwave.
I called Colleen and chatted with her for a while. I worked until about 4:00 PM and then got cleaned up as I am going to get Mary at the VA and take her to dinner at Patty’s Place in Seal Beach.
Well, if I am taking a beautiful lady out I must wash the car!
I was so busy I didn’t even take any pictures today. I did however water all the veggies in the garden. On the way tot he VA I called Michele and we gabbed for about 20 minutes.
We had a wonderful meal at Patty’s and I did the Swordfish again. It is hard to figure out why their swordfish is jo juicy. Chuck needed a boost so Mary told him a medical joke. I cannot repeat it here but if you ask her, she will tell you!
We stayed and talked for quite a while. We arrived a little past 5:00 PM and departed about 6:50 PM.
We shared a Chip Shot but she got the bigger straw!
We returned to Mary’s and crashed after watching half of Two and a Half Men. It was a busy weekend and we are now in recovery mode.
