The Week Is Almost Gone

Why don’t vampires go to barbecues? They don’t like steaks.

Today I went to “Girls Night Out” at the Elks with Greg.  We enjoyed the meal, and I got to take two steak sandwiches home.  Mary and I will not have to cook tomorrow. Bob Z with Donna in the desert using their time-share availability.

Greg does Shakespear… or something?

Sharing stories.  Remember, those things that never happened were sure a lot of fun!  Mike Andersen did not show today, so we are hoping Bridgette is well.

Lunch with Bill and John was super! The teasing lamp was definitely lit!

Greg rode along with me, so I dropped him off at a shop where his car was serviced.  I returned home.

I drove Mary to work this morning, so I could pick her up when she was done as we are going to have dinner with Becky, Mary’s daughter.   I had not had the pleasure yet of meeting her.  The dinner was delightful.

Mary is very fond of her family and always talks about them, now I can see why!

Mary and youngest daughter, Becky.

Becky works for a Fortune 500 “Headhunter” and is doing quite well.  We had a very nice dinner, and I shared that Mary and I are “old” friends dating back about seventeen years.

A Mommy’s love is forever!

We departed Fashion Island around 8:30 PM and headed for Mary’s house and watched a little TV before I headed west into the sunset; oops, the sun went down a long time ago!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
