Lunch With Robin Day!

The police were called to the daycare center because a 3-year old was resisting a rest.

I awoke this morning at 3:20 AM and wandered into the office and worked on the daily diary for half an hour before crashing again.  The phone went off at 7:00 AM, and it was Lisa, calling an hour early.   Not thinking, I turned over and answered the video call.  Poor Lisa, she was shocked to see a white-haired Bozo The Clown.  Note To Self:  Keep a hairbrush by the phone, especially early in the morning.

My cleaning folks showed up extra early, so I went to the garage and straightened things up before returning to the house and getting ready for lunch.  I plan to share all my secrets (which will take about 15 seconds on a good day) while we dine at the Yucatan Grill!!

The canopy makes all the colors strange!

Returning home, I did some yard work and got the trash cans ready to go outside.  Later in the afternoon, I texted Mary, and she invited me over for dinner, and we watched “The Sound Of Music.”   I didn’t know that Mary could sing so beautifully.

Mary and Mr. Scout.

Heading home, I went by Jan’s and dropped off her dinner, courtesy of Mary, and we talked for a little bit.  I am now officially the “Meals On Wheels” guy!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
