Father’s Day Was Sloooooow And Restful

We got up and went to Church this morning. Since it was Father’s Day and we hadn’t heard from anyone we decided to go to Old Ranch Country Club and have a “light lunch” before going to a play.  Lunch was, as usual, delightful.  The maître d’ (short for maître d’hôtel, in the original French, literally “master of the hotel”) Juan bought us a round of nice wine for it being Father’s Day! We then headed over the La Mirada to join Greg Leach and his family for a great funny play and then off to dinner.  After getting home, we watch an old movie and crashed.

Nice little theater a few short miles from home

Dinner and then we headed for home

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
