Did You Know? The average number of people airborne over the U. S. in any given hour: 61,000
This morning I went through the three boxes I found in the closet yesterday. Well, I found a box of hats (from the various holidays), a box of old western boots, and a box of fancy Lenox glassware. The glassware was packed carefully so it has been around for a while? I have no idea where all this stuff came from but we sure don’t need it!
It’s was 8:00 AM and we talked to Lisa C. We talk on the bat phone most mornings before she heads for work. I mentioned the closet cleaning activity and she asked what we were doing with the stuff…I said “likely tossing it”. We are going to see her and Pete next weekend for Pete’s birthday and she will likely go through the boots and Lenox glassware to see if she wants it. If not, I will send the boxes to Colleen!.
One more day; one more doctor! Today I get to see the doctor as the cough just won’t go away! COPD related bronchitis is my expert diagnosis! Dr. Karen, and she is a cutie, said try Musinex and prescribed some steroids. We will see!
Did You Know? Guaifenesin, sold under the brand name Mucinex among others, is a medication used to try to help cough out phlegm from the airways. It is unclear if it decreases coughing. Use is not recommended in children less than 6 years old. It is often used in combination with other medications. It is taken by mouth.
Side effects may include dizziness, sleepiness, skin rash, and nausea. While it has not been properly studied in pregnancy, it appears to be safe. It is believed to work by making airway secretions more liquid.
Guaifenesin has been used medically since at least 1933. It is available as a generic medication and over the counter. In the United States the wholesale cost is less than 0.10 USD per dose. In 2016 it was the 261st most prescribed medication in the United States with more than a million prescriptions.
I checked the beetle bag and nada…not a critter inside this infallible device. M-m-m-m-m-m, did I buy another Brooklyn Bridge?
Beetle bag? That reminds me! Do you remember…
Did You Know? Beetle Bailey (begun on September 4, 1950) is an American comic strip created by cartoonist Mort Walker. It is set on a fictional United States Army post. In the years just before Walker’s death in 2018 (at age 94), it was among the oldest comic strips still being produced by its original creator.
Our frig was sooooo full of left-overs that we had to go home and have lunch. We had Indian, Chinese, Mexican, and finally Italian so we did an international lunch!
We watched some TV and then got ready for the Phoenix Club. We had a good crowd tonight and…. we had two birthdays to celebrate! That means cake!
We danced and talked for several hours departing around 9:30 PM as we have a medical class we do not want to miss! We forgot which classroom? It was Grey’s, ER, or perhaps The Resident?
We studied until midnight and finally crashed! Yes, we did our tookies and I took the third fose of Musinex so we will see int he morning how it worked!
