Another Great Day

Subway is definitely the healthiest fast food available because they make you get out of the car.

Dang the noise! Alexa went off before I could change the alarm! This morning she sounded like a squeaky toy. OK, I am up! The day hasn’t got out of bed yet…grey and cold!

Very happy Friday indeed

We worked on the puzzle, went through the mail from yesterday, and did some chores before we decided to go to lunch. Where to go Greece sounds like a good destination. George’s Greek Cafe was our choice.

We got our favorite table!

Spinach and feta cheese stuffed steak come to daddy! Washed down by two non-alcoholic beers and I was in heaven. Of course we did saganaki to kick off lunch!

Cold Stone Creamery here we come…today Sue tried the dark chocolate and cookies and cream….I went for color and had tangerine, pistachio, and cotton candy!

Now we are off to Lilly’s graduation. She did well Becca and Zack were there of course, Peanut and her sister, Becca’s sister and daughter were all there.

Our little ham was right in the center

She was pretty cute…quite animated as the program progressed. Next step, kindergarten!

Walking over the bridge signified graduating to Kindergarden

To hear more about the graduation, go to the family blog…usual password.

After the graduation we headed for the Garden Grove Elks for an evening of dining and dancing with friends. We had a super time and I did the “Cowboy Pork Chops”…OMG, must have been from a dinosaur as they were huge!

Robin called us on the way home and we shared the graduation and dance activities with her and Bob…we hope they join us at Garden Grove tomorrow night after going to the Segerstrom.

We departed about 8:45 PM as we had to make a pharmacy stop on the way home. We then watched TV, had some tookies, and then crashed.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
