It was supposed to rain hard today, but alas, it was barely a sprinkle! I spent the morning organizing the office…I have the routine down to a science now!
Bills…paid..check! Dance club invitations…posted in calendar…checks written…check!
Time for lunch…we are finally getting to the last of the leftovers! Our meal was indeed international! Mexican, Indian, Asian, American, and Italian! We are good to go!
We sent out the Super Bowl invites and already have many responses! It looks like it will be a well-attended affair!
We started watching a new series called “Drop Dead Diva”. Deb (Brooke D’Orsay) is an attractive, ditzy blonde who is auditioning for a job as a game show hostess. She is engaged to her lawyer fiancé, Grayson (Jackson Hurst). She dies in a traffic accident. Deb gets stopped on her way to heaven by angel Fred (Ben Feldman) because she has never done a good or bad deed in her whole life. “It doesn’t mean you’re a bad person. Probably just really shallow,” he tells her. Outraged, Deb hits the return button and is sent back to Earth…in Jane’s recently vacated body.
At 5:00 PM, we got cleaned up, and at 6:15 PM, we headed to the Phoenix Club for an evening of dancing and visiting friends.
We danced through the second set, then headed home to crash. It’s been a long day!
