Friday The Tooth.. The Week Be Gone!

We had big plans but the weather got the better of us.  We were going ot go to Roger’s Gardnes and visit the Tomato Mania but alas, the weather was cold and this year we are not going to plant as much as previous years…  We go out to often!

Paul decided a walk was in order as Sue was returning to normal.  Amazon now takes a picture of their deliveries… Quite helpful to locate the boxes since they end up in different places.  Ours ends up, generally, inside the walled front yard!

Amazon deliveries

Before leaving, we drag out the goodies from the frid and select what we want to have for breakfast… Then Sue adds a Frittata to the selections!  We never go hungry!

Did You Know? Frittata is an egg-based Italian dish similar to an omelette or crustless quiche or scrambled eggs, enriched with additional ingredients such as meats, cheeses, vegetables or pasta. The word frittata is Italian and roughly translates to “fried”.

Off Paul goes through the sleet and the hail…. OK, it was dry, cold, and windy!

The wind and rain was all around the local area!

Paul visits his little friends along the way!

We had little visitors

Yes… Easter is just around the corner… E Gad!  Gazooks!  Daylight savings time starts this week, St Patty’s Day is on;y a week away, and Spring comes a few days after that!

A gentle reminder

Some flowers are already peeking out looking for the sun!

Sping is almost here!

2 1/2 miles in an hour… Not too bad for a broken down ol’ 198 pound weakling!

Nice little jaunt this morning!

After returning home. Paul worked in the garage getting his new air compressor going… The local Sears store closed and Paul visited the remaining tools.  50% off!  Not too bad. They had about 20 ten gallon air compressors which was about right for the little shop. With a 50 foot extension and several air chucks, we are in business!  First things first… Cleaning the tool boxes!  We also checked the air in all the tires…  We are all nice an even at 32 psi now!  Easy piezy!

Perfect for the little shop!

So, we stayed home until late in the afternoon and then headed to H&H to pick up some supplies of gardening items and hopefully some tomatoes.  The tomato selection was nil!  As in poopy!  We got some standards but that was about it.

After getting home and moving the items to the back yard, we decided to stay home where it was warm and NOT go to GG Elks… We will miss our friends but Sue’s recovery takes precedence!

Around 10:00 PM is began to rain so we are happy we stayed home!  We watched some TV before crashing!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
