Dang! Why Me?

Paul got up bright and early and headed to get the Toyota smogged.  Thought it would be no problem but alas, it FAILED.  The technician said it will pass as soon as we get a vacuum hose adapter replaced so Paul got an early am appointment at the Toyota dealer on Monday morning.  Dang the luck.

From there Paul went to the big box store and bought some goodies for house maintenance.  We are putting large handle/bars in the bathroom as both of us are getting older and getting out of the shower feels better if there is something to hold on to!  We installed two 18 inch bars and one horizontal 36 inch long bar.  Paul says “You can’t be too careful when you are in your 70’s”.

Sue rested and Paul hit the front yard getting ready to fill the trashcans with fruit and picking the ripe fruit for orange juice!

Later in the afternoon, we both rested and then headed to the Garden Grove Elks to dine and dance.  Paul ordered baby-back ribs, dern things looked like they came from a dinosaur.  He ate two and took the other ten home along with rice.  Nice for the next weeks lunch!

OMG… It was an amazing meal!

At 10:00 PM we headed home to watch a little TV before crashing.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
