Dance To The Holidays

It’s Sunday and time to rest… We did with Paul putting the final touches on the Starlighters Dance Club website and setting up for Nightlighters which is upcoming.

We went to Cerritos Performing Arts center to see “Dancing To The Holidays” which was interesting… Paul liked it with some exceptions but Sue thought it a “little cheap”.  While the music and dancing was “OK” having the ladies out on stage half naked and the guys running around without shirts just didn’t seem to be in the Christmas spirit.  To each his own.  We guess it is a new world.

Working hard provided for a busy lively show

Spinning new twists on old holiday favorites, Dance to the Holidays sashays into the spotlight with a sizzling lineup that includes Dancing With the Stars winners Tony Dovolani and Karina Smirnoff; and So You Think You Can Dance finalist Jonathan Platero.

We were with the Robers, Kuhn’s, Zaitz, Andersons, Woolston’s, Irene and others!

We did not go out for dinner wit the gang  as Paul had had a  belly-ache for several days… We opted to go home and watch a bit of Christmas!  Naturally, we headed to the Hallmark Channel to see the Christmas Train.  Loved that movie as it had all sorts of twists and turns and a great ending!

Wonderful movie!!!

THE CHRISTMAS TRAIN = Premieres: Saturday November 25th, 8/7c
Stars: Dermot Mulroney, Danny Glover, Joan Cusack, Kimberly Williams-Paisley
David Baldacci’s No. 1 New York Times bestseller comes to Hallmark Hall of Fame: A journalist embarks on a cross-country train ride at Christmas having no idea this journey will take him into the rugged terrain of his own heart as he rediscovers people’s goodness, holiday magic, and a love he thought he’d lost.

We, of course, watched Madame S, then some Friends, and then we crashed about 12:30 PM.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
