Walking was the first order of the day! Finally the legs are back to working so walking at 1.85 miles and hour felt pretty good. Couple this with dancing this evening and the 10,000 steps a day goal will be met! Keeping healthy is a lot of work!
Did the standard walk and listened to folk music from the 1960’s. That makes the walk go faster as sometimes Paul keep with the beat of the music!
Always with a camera nearby, Paul spotted a beautiful garden and walked across the street to snap a picture. It was magnificent, too pretty. A closer look revealed that they clever devils in this house planted plastic flowers. Excellent idea!
We went to the heart doctor and was given a clean bill of health. Dr. Vannatta enjoys our visits as he likes to see a couple so much in love and really enjoys healthy patients! We fall into both of those categories.
So, where to go to lunch? Paul suggested the Himalayan Grill so off we go! We know the food will be perfect the the service great! Sue ordered her favorite, vegetable thokpa.
Did You Know: Thokpa is boiled noodles, filtered and mixed with vegetables and meat items. Thokpa is also called Thukpa, It is very popular in Kathmandu and Mountain region of Nepal. It is eaten mostly during winter. Thokpa is noodles dipped in very hot soup, so it is good in cold places. It keeps you warm. It has its own chili dipped vinegar source. People prefer hot and spicy tomato Achar with this item too. Thokpa is eaten generally for Khaja at noon or meals in night.
Other dishes we ordered and take home will feed us for several days!
From lunch we went to Old Ranch and met up with Bunnaford to solve the issues of the world. Then we are off to Anahein to dance at the Phoenix Club. Great music this evening and as an added bonus, we got to see Connor, our grandson!
We stayed until about 10:00 PM and then headed home to crash after watching some hilarious Fraser episodes!
