What A Day… Eat, Eat and Eat… Golf Tomorrow

We began the day by getting ready to go to “The Old Guy’s Lunch” at Taco Surf in Sunset Beach.  It was a small group today but that was OK.  We meet every other month and see what the latest in retirement activities are plus catch up on the Boeing rumor mill!

PCH was a few feet away!

After lunch, we called Colleen who was waiting for us and we met across the street at “That’s Amore” Italian restaurant.  Colleen and Calhan ate while Sue and Paul downed a glass of wine!

Calhan was full of wee wee and vinegar so Great Grandpa Paul took Calhan for a run around Peter’s Landing.  They were both worn out when they came back.  Cathan and Paul stopped to play in the water at the fountain. Calhan learned a new game called get Great Grandpa wet!

With sadness in our heart, we said goodbye to them until next time!  However, we talk on the phone and text on a regular basis so we are never too far away.

We went home to rest for a bit and then went to Patty’s Place to visit the regular’s.  Paul Rusnock and his bride of eight years dropped in to celebrate their anniversary.  Paul secretly organized the singing of “Happy Anniversary” to the Rusnock’s and we all had a great time.  Paul dined on giant prawns which were fantastic.

We then headed for home to do the treadmill and watch some more of Cheers before getting the intergalactic message from Captain Janeway!  We finally crashed at 11:30 PM.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
