Saturday Was A Restful Day

Estimated reading time: 2 minutes

Paul decided to take it easy today.  Greg came over and did some gardening.  Sue went for a hair cut and Paul waited in the car researching white powdery mildew.

We fixed lunch for Greg and we had our first corn on the cob from the garden!  We picked some corn and had it for lunch… Delicious!  A few weeks ago it was tall grass and now the corn is in production!  We nuked five cob’s at one time for five minutes on high and it was perfect!

It’s wonderful to see the corn grow from a baby to a producer!  We are going to do another planting of corn this year as soon as these are done… About two weeks!

Amazing! From garden to mouth

Paul took a nap to rest up for this evening and Sue did some chores and caught up on her emails.  We went to Patty’s Place after doing some errands getting envelopes at Staples and the post office.  Chuck was there so we caught up on the latest!

We headed home to change and go to Garden Grove to meet up with everyone.  We danced until about 10:00 and then headed home to watch another old episode of NCIS before crashing for the night!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
