We decided it was time to see if Paul could do a “road trip” so we decided to go to Temecula. At least if he could not make it back the refreshments would be good. Darn the luck, we made the trip without a hitch and we visited four wineries after having a great lunch. Join the fun!
We started at Falkner Winery as we love their wines. The we walked across the parking lot to Pinnacle Restaurant
Surrounded by wine… A horrible situation
Over to Pinnacle we go and wow, what a treat. Paul had the Octopus which was magnificent.

Sue tried the stir-fried Brussel Sprouts with sliced-almonds, chopped dried cherries, goat cheese crumbles and a fried egg on top! It was fantastic.

We went to three more wineries to get our pickups and procure champagne. The weather was simply fantastic.
Beautiful day in Temecula
We headed for home about 4:00 and did not run into too much traffic… We were smart and got off the 91 as soon as we could.
