We slept late…. For us… 7:00am! We saw Vicky come to the front door and she was delivering Ed Robert’s thumb drive chip containing the pictures on it from the last Topper’s Dance on April 15th Vicky came in and we talked for an hour catching up on things (Vicky is our dear next-door neighbor).
Sue fixed a great breakfast and she got cleaned up and we were off. Our Greens-Keeper (Greg) was over to assist on the garden while we went to Park Nursery to get a few more plants.
We decided to walk for a half-hour to get our exercise in and we saw things we never knew were there before.
The flower arrangements for Mother’s Day were brilliant!
Sue found a Variegated (Variegated (adj.): Marked With or Containing Patches of Different Colors) Fig! She was so excited we bought it with no idea where to put it!
Greg, Sue, and Paul went to CPK for lunch and had a great time. Sue and Greg found two “new” soups while Paul stayed with the Chinese Chicken Salad! We then went back home for another hour of gardening. Greg loosened up the dirt in Vicky’s front yard adjacent to our Avacado tree because we plan to put a pumpkin there for her grand babies! The pumpkins will grow 25 feet long and have 5-7 pumpkins if we trim them properly.
Then came the call… From Los Alamitos Emergency Room asking Sue to come into the ER to talk about her blood test of last Saturday! We did and it turned about to be nothing critical.
We then went to Old Ranch for a drink before heading home for dinner and the West Wing. We crashed at 10:00!
