Big Day Of Entertainment – Turn Back The Clock!

Paul did a short walk and then we got ready to depart at 10:00 for Claremont to visit the Candlelight Dinner Theater to see Sentimental Journey.  Brian and Jan joined us for the adventure. The Candlelight Pavilion opened its doors in October 1985 with its premiere Jubilee. Now, 30 years later, we were invited  to attend the 30th Anniversary Celebration: A Sentimental Journey. We dressed to the nines  (perhaps 7 and 3/4) and danced the afternoon  away to the music of the 1930’s and 1940’s as the Candlelight Pavilion was transformed into a ballroom complete with a live orchestra; reminiscent of the Big Band era supper clubs.

Great fun and fantastic etertainment!

Great fun and fantastic entertainment!

After the show we headed home and then to Whittier to celebrate Frank’s 83th birthday!  Loads of fun at the Klix household!   Then… of course, dancing at the GG Elks with the gang!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
