Monday Was An Interesting Day

We were up and messed around the house before going to a new back doctor for Sue.  He scheduled us for more CT scans to determine if all is well with the hardware.  It was over two hours at his office so we missed going to Traini’s in Long Beach.

We always wanted to try some of the African food on the menu at the Eldorado Bar and Grill so we did!  Wow! Good groceries!  Sue has a veggie dish and Paul pigged out on spicy lamb curry over rice with a spicy South African sauce!  Just plain good grub!  The menu says “Durban Curry and Rice – South African style curry served steaming hot over rice with sambals and a pappadum.”

Right around the corner from us... OK, it's a big corner!

Plenty of food and it was excellent!

We then headed for Malarkeys to be with Irene and Greg.  Before arriving we stopped to look at the dredging underway in the harbor.  They were not working but looks like they have been!  We see the barge being towed out to sea sometimes twice during happy hour!

The dredge was still but they have been working

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
