We spent several days at the California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, enthusiastically committing to our two greatest talents: eating and drinking. It’s honestly impressive—Disney found a way to lure adults without kids into Disneyland. The trick is to wave gourmet food and wine in front of us, and we’ll walk in voluntarily.
For four weekends (April 26–May 20, 2007), they rolled out celebrity chefs and winemakers for fancy tastings, cooking classes, and enough “pairings” to make us start pairing wine with… more wine.
Thursday nights featured celebrity chef dinners (so you can eat like royalty and pretend you know what “foam” is), and Fridays were Winemaker Dinners—multi-course meals with wine pairings designed to make you say, “I definitely taste notes of… grapes.”
They also had cooking school options and seminars on wine, beer, and spirits—because nothing says “education” like taking notes while sipping your way through the syllabus.
Join us for fun!

Great activities and fun for four weekends
