Paul got up early and headed to Carri’s new digs to assist her in moving in. In the middle morning Sue went for her first cardiovascular rehab appointment and it went well! We went to one of our favorite places to have lunch before again heading to Carri’s. Carri was gone so we went to ORCC,
On the way to ORCC, we called James to see if he wanted to play none… Duh! Sue is back on the course the second day! Her babies were waiting for her… and they looked a little skinny. We played nine holes with James starting at 4:00.

The ducks were so very happy to see Grandma Duck Lady
We, of course, headed for 18 after the round and enjoyed iced tea and exchange of stories. James, below, is telling about visiting his new grandson and coming home only to be accosted by Frankie wanting to know where he has been and what kind of a dog he had been petting.

James tells of getting sniffed by the dogs after visiting his new grandson
We came home, completed our mailings for the Starlighters dance club (we prepared 60 letters containing the invitation to the next dance, newsletter, and return envelopes). We then watched a movie entitled “Battle Los Angeles“. Summary: A Marine Staff Sergeant who has just had his retirement approved goes back into the line of duty in order to assist a 2nd Lieutenant and his platoon as they fight to reclaim the city of Los Angeles from alien invaders.
You got to love our neighborhood!

Duh! Love our neighbors!
