Thursday Has Arrived! Wall Foundation Trenches Are Done!

Fact: All parts of the oleander (Nerium oleander), a beautiful flowering shrub native to the Mediterranean, are poisonous.  Ingesting oleander leaves can cause gastrointestinal, cardiac, and central nervous system problems and possible death.

Another busy day in the Liles household!  We were dressed and ready to exercise at 7:30 AM when we headed for the gym!

After returning home, the first thing was placing the plants so the gardener could put them in the round.  Ed Roberts came by yesterday and dropped off a plumeria (ours died in a traffic accident; I fell into it, and he just snapped).

We planted the new plumeria by the Swim Spa, where it gets shade in the morning and sun in the afternoon!

Did You Know?  All parts of the plumeria are considered toxic, and the sap can cause a rash in sensitive people.  But the alkaloids in plumerias make the plant extremely bitter, and there are no definitive cases of plumeria poisoning.

Indeed!

We took a still on the South-Forty, and the project is coming along!  Tomorrow the start of forms and perhaps the first of 50 yards of concrete may arrive; it is taking shape!

We are going to “Girls Night Out” at 11:00 AM, so we have to pick tomatoes for the ladies in the front and the gang!

The tomatoes below are indeed ripe; they are called Pineapple tomatoes because of their color.  The inside is read and delicious\.  Known for its excellent flavor, particularly among bi-color tomatoes, Pineapple is mildly sweet with low acidity, somewhat fruity, and a hint of citrus.  Its flavor improves towards the end of the season.  Size.  Pineapple tomatoes range from one pound to often more than two pounds in size.

The Pineapple Tomatoes were magnificent.

We met up with Syndey’s family and had a great time exchanging teases and stories.  If laughter is good medicine, we are all going to be well!!

They are very nice people!

The Bobs were harassing each other.  That is always a show to watch>  I should video the process and start the “B ob & Bob Blog” or BBB for short.

Don’t worry if plan A fails; there are 25 more letters in the alphabet.

Bob #1 is pondering the outburst of Bob #2

From the Elks, we went to El Moreno High School and watched Charlie’s game.  He is quite a player, and he caught a fly ball and scored a run!

Score one for the good guys!

Like grandpa like grandson; the poor kid!  Remember this: Parents know a lot, but grandparents know everything.

Great game!

Charlie and Alex are great sportsmen and play several sports.  This game was supposedly the last game of the season, but that may change tomorrow!

Do not worry; he caught it!

We watched a movie and then decided the Swim Spa was needed to pass the time before the moon came up.

After an hour in the spa, we sat by the firepit for another ninety minutes and watched the big moon.

I was snoozing by the fire.

The pictures does not do it justice.

Super moon!

Along came photoshop!

What a fantastic sight!!

Time to crash!  We did!
