Mid-Week; Domi Comes To Visit!

Fact: There’s only one letter that doesn’t appear in any American state name.  There’s a Z in Arizona and an X in Texas, but no Q in any of them.

We were up at going early because Domi and her crew are due in at 8:00 AM; the house must be clean and ready to go!  We were cleaned up, showered, and standing ready for inspection when Domi arrived.

We got our St. Patrick’s Day clothes out and ready to wear tomorrow!  Remember last year? Take a look!  We had no idea that we would be married four months later but we are so happy we did! We are re-creating the event this year in our new home this coming Saturday!

Today we got warmed up for tomorrow!

Rockwell’s is about 1.5 miles from the house and a nice place to dine; we are now considered regulars!  The veggie omelets are perfect for sharing for the two of us.  The dilemma, Colleen wanted a half also!  So, they each get half, and I have an entire one to munch on.  I am glad the omelets are friendly!

I feel like I am being watched!

The girls thought it was hilarious!  Me, not so much!  I was stuffed the rest of the day!

While Domi was cleaning, we went to Rockwell’s.

There is enough food and calories there to feed an army!

The three of us shared two veggie omelets; each got one half, and porky got a full plate.

After breakfast, we went to Home Depot to get some electrical items for the house; the electrical work starts tomorrow!

After Home Depot, we went to a nursery looking for carnations, but there were non to be found.

Returning home, we worked in the house until it was time for Mary to go to her CPA.  Colleen took The Silver Fox to Michael’s and got replacement glass for a picture frame, and

I worked on getting ready for the electrical contractors tomorrow.  We are adding about 30 electrical outlets, four overhead motion-sensitive lights, power and lights to the two sheds, putting the pool lighting so Alexa can control them, and replacing the main power panel.  I was going to do the work myself but at my tender age, I will pay to have it done!

That would be me for sure!

Mary called around 5:00 PM, and she was not happy; her CPA of twenty years dropped the ball!  I made tamales and veggie chili dinner, courtesy of the freezer.  The three of us sat around the table, taking turns throwing darts at the CPA!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
