Saturday; A Day To Rest!

Fact: A flock of flamingos is called a flamboyance.

Today was a zip! We did nothing. We did jump in the swim spa at 7:00 AM and then had a small breakfast. We worked in the office for a while, and at noon we went to Costa Mesa to drop off Mary’s income tax information. On the way back, we made a “meals on wheels” drop at Bill’s place and then at Jan’s before going home.

The flowers are popping up all over!

We stayed at Jan’s and visited for a good hour before going home and crashing. We watched “Eureka” and made it through the first four episodes.

Did You Know? Eureka is an American science fiction television series that premiered on Sci-Fi Channel on July 18, 2006. The fifth and final season ended on July 16, 2012. The show is set in the fictional town of Eureka, Oregon (although in the pilot episode, Eureka was located in Washington – and the origin of a diamond in the episode “Best In Faux” was shown as Eureka, California). Most residents of Eureka are scientific geniuses who work for Global Dynamics – an advanced research facility responsible for the development of nearly all major technological breakthroughs since its inception. Each episode featured a mysterious accidental or intentional misuse of technology, which the town sheriff, Jack Carter, solved with the help of town scientists.

We crashed but read until midnight. At 12:01 AM, I took Scout, The Wonder Dog, out for a midnight pee.

We both watered the grass!

Good night all!
