The Mice Tie The Knot!

Fact: The actors who voiced Mickey and Minnie Mouse got married in real life. Russi Taylor (Minnie) and Wayne Allwine (Mickey) got married in 1991.

Amazing people!

I got on the scale this morning and discovered that I am Fit-ish!  I told Mary, “Diets are for those who are thick and tired of it.”

Indeed I am!

While doing the Daily Diary, my photo software displayed pictures from two years ago today.  I went to Starlighters alone to take some pictures (Sue was sleeping a lot and I was gone for less than an hour).  I was shocked to see that five of the members are now deceased, six counting Sue and another is in a home).

Tuesday and we are out and about with the first stop being Rockwell’s for lunch!  Mary was going to make breakfast but we decided we needed to get on the road.  We stopped at North Orange County Glass and they are coming out tomorrow to do measurements on the closets.  In about two weeks we ought to have new closet doors everywhere, yeah!

We stopped at the bank for a few minutes and the next stop was Staples where I got the manual for the Bose headset; eighty pages of instructions, no wonder the headset costs so much!

We took the van because we had boxes of donation items to leave with GoodWill. Now it was time to beat it home and water the dog.  We don’t want to leave him alone too long at a time.  Our calculations revealed we had fifteen minutes before needing to leave for our couples massage.

How would I describe the massage I had today? Much kneaded.

I remember asking Mary for a massage.

Note To Self: Buy a very large phone!

From the massage, we went to Patty’s Place and met up with Irene at 5:30 PM.  We had a great dinner and talked for a good hour before heading home.  We know several of the regulars and one asked Mary if she were an eye doctor.  Her response was priceless.

“Why Yes, I am an eye doctor; see my glasses?”

We sat at the head of the bar making sure Irene was a distance away from everyone.

At the head of the bar, naturally!

We just crashed, it had been a long day!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
