Sunday Was Great!

Definition:  Paradox – two physicians.

We were up early and did some chores.  Breakfast was super, bacon and eggs, my favorite.  We were getting ready to go to San Diego (actually Vista) to see Pete and Lisa, but they were under the weather, we were waived off.

We walked Scout before leaving the house, but there were no birds around.  What gives, Spring is here.  Then we remembered.

We were dressed in our Sunday best, so I called my son Joe, and we visited him, Amy, and the boys.  We spent a couple of hours catching up as we have not seen them in a long time due to COVID.  We had a wonderful visit.  Sometimes when I need a miracle, I look into my son’s eyes and realize I’ve already created one.

Dianne called Mary and invite us to the Packard Club’s Sunday dinner, and we said yes.  We went to Salt & Pepper Restaurant in Fullerton and dinner with about ten club members having a jolly old time.

We returned home about 7:00 PM, watched some TV, and crashed.  It was an excellent day full of family and friends; life does not get better.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
