The Grey Lady Gets Her Bath!!

Gave my pet leopard a bath every day. Now he’s spotless.

Our orchids are doing well!

No rain this morning so the guys were here at 9:30 AM for The Gray Lady’s day at the spa! She cleaned up pretty well and by noon she was gorgeous again! I swear I heard her giggle when he washed underneath!

Grey Lady is looking great again!!!

We watched TV during the day and I worked on Janice’s trip to Cuba. (She is now officially on Day #6 of a ten day trip!) I offer our friends to put their travels on the web in s dtory formst. I take their photos and do the forensics to take a collection of pictures and built it into a story they can share with their friends and neighbors. The pictures are cropped and operated on my Photoshop to bring out the best in them before posting. The benefit to us? We travel vicariously! It’s a lot of work but fun! Take a gander!

I ran up to the market and was amazed at the number of people with their heads down staring into their phones…even in the market!

In the evening, we headed to the GG Elks for an evening of dining and dancing. They had a Shish kebab and shrimp this evening that was outstanding! There was ten of us this evening but it sounded like 20+ Punch and Judy, a group we have known for 20 years, did the music and it was terrific.

Super fun with the gang!

It’s always amazing how our group gets along so amazingly well and we pick up the conversation from the last time we met without batting an eye!

When Doctor Bob is in…the world is well! We laughed all night long!

It’s 9:30 PM meaning time to head for the bard. We all say good night and walk out. Bob and Sandy saya good evening to Donna and Bob…a good evening it was!

Just a little more teasing… please!
(Can you believe you are seeing 320 years of combined existence right here?)

We departed in the Silver Ghost and he was so proud of being “new”, it seemed like he was driving by himself! We have a new addition to the Silver Ghost, an Alexa Auto.

We gave it a test as on the way home as we checked the house thermostat, set the yard lights on, set the inside lights to “watch a movie”, and turned on the garage fan. We also listened to our favorite XM/Siris radio station, the “40’s Junction”! Worked like a charm!

Echo Auto connects to Alexa through your phone’s Alexa app and plays through your car’s speakers via auxiliary input or your smartphone’s Bluetooth connection. Each time you start your car make sure your phone’s volume is up and set your car stereo to the correct input. Then say “Alexa”—wait for the chime—and ask!

At home we watched TV, did some tookies, and crashed for tomorrow evening is busy time!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
