What is the best thing about living in Switzerland? Well, the flag is a big plus.
The Silver Ghost and I departed the house at 9:00 AM as we had chores to get accomplished. First things first, we needed a cake for Saturday at noon so we went to Katelloa Deli. The nice lady was helpful and said no problem to making a special cake for twenty people and delivering it to Old Ranch at noon, just ahead of the party! Yeah Katella deli!!
Then off to Old Ranch to finalize the seating arrangement for the party. Saturday at 1:00 is not too busy ion the dining room so we have the north-west corner with a view of the golf course all reserved for us!
Finally to Staples as I needed another plastic organizing box for the office. Finally all the office supplies are in a single flat box and easy to get at when I need them!
Arriving home Sue was hungry so we ate immediately. Sue again did international and I hit the stove making a protein fill breakfast that my cardiologist would not like very much!
We watched some TV in the afternoon and around 4:00 we got ready for the evenings frivolities…Topper’s Dance Club. We have been members for 25 years and tonight is the first dance of our 73rd season! We are going to the Long Beach Grand with about 60 other friends.
We crashed when we arrived home…two episodes of Designated Survivor (and in fact the last episode). Interesting, the first two seasons were excellent but in the third season it seems swearing was in vogue and it was rasty to say the least…we almost turned it off! We are not prudes but does every word out of their moths have to be nasty? Especially the females?!
