Friday It Be!

I’ve never met a Friday I didn’t like!

We awoke ab out 7:30 AM but I was still tired…I did “The Battle Of The Racoon” last night. While working on the daily diary I heard something in the bushes…probably the derned neighborhood cat! I goes outside, in my skivvies, to confront this wild beast who is apparently in our fig tree treating himself to a feast!

Well…it was a beast…a 25 pound racoon looking at me with non-adoring eyes.

He looked a little wild so petting him was NOT an option! He did get a bath!

We just stayed around the house today getting rested up for GG this evening. We decided not to go to the Rondeliers Dance Club as the 90 minute drive in heavy Friday afternoon traffic was just too much…we hated not to go but alas, as one gets older some things have just got to go. Besides, we went the Garden Grove Elks and had a super time and it is only eleven minutes away at 6 PM in traffic!

As were were about to go to the floor, we caught a glimpse of Leon…patiently standing almost twiddling his thumbs.

Where is Marsha???

Well…Marsha was bust talking and when we pointed out Leon was waiting she said “Oops, I forgot him!”…then cracked up!

She got the entire table laughing! We do have a lot of fun together!

We departed GG about 9:30 PM and watched some TV and had our tookies before crashing at 11:45 PM.

Only 14 minutes or 11 miles from GG to home! We can do this!

On the way home we listened to a radio station than pointed us to the graphics of obumma’s eight years…. OMG, knew it was bad but this bad? We actually did have high hopes that he would be a moderate and not be horrible but that’s what you get with a socialist democrat.

Thank goodness he is out of office….
