We woke up to rain and it rained all day with a few moments of dry air. We need it so that is good.
We got a post card in the mail form the OCTA (OC Transit Authority) and I now know why everything costs so damn much. 1000 pages of pure gibberish for a small project to help pedestrians and bikers in the area of the Katella/605 interchange. I read the 100’s of pages of reports…I could not imagine what deranged bureaucrat allowed this crap to be generated! They was reports on animals, pre-historic animals, they wrote eight Indian tribes to see if anyone had a comment (none!), and to make things worse, the friggin’ report said there would not likely be funds to do it until the year 2035… This environmental report crap is just a way of keeping people employed…it’s a travesty..a waste…a boondoggle. No damned wonder we can’t get anything done in this country!
Old Timers Day…so, we are off to Taco Surf in Sunset Beach where I did a margarita and two hard-shelled taco’s plus their famous “scorpion soup”…supposed to be hot but alas, it was not!
We got home about 1:30 PM and I decided to take a nap…so good! Woke up around 4:00 PM and worked in the office for a while. It was raining again so we decided not to go outside…stay in and watch TV this evening!
