Sunday Gets Us Ready For The Rest Of The Week!

Oh Yeah! If you ‘re still looking for that one person who will change your life take a look in the mirror

You are quite correct, I am back to walking doing another four miles journey to the market.  I didn’t even go inside, just passed by it as I could not think of anything to get!  I headed across the street to Stapes and finally did a writing pad (skinny piece of plastic to but on my glass desk so the ball point pens would write smoothly).

As I was walking along, thinking about each of the 1.7 millions steps I have taken in my morning walks, I spotted something in the tree.  It about to attack me by swooping down can carrying me off (not, it was NOT a Pterodactyl.

It was ginormous with teeth of iron… scary!

made it by with my life and continued on my walk stopping at Staples to do some shopping.  Staples is a large chain with 1,200 stores in the US…they have a little bit of everything for the office!  Today I got a rubberized mat for the desk as the glass top makes the ball point pens malfunction.

Random Memory:  Growing up on Comey Avue was always exciting.  There was a dirt alley behind out home and many businesses operated out of there.  The one behind our house was a ball point pen manufacturing company and they produced 1000’s of pens and they used to throw the defective ones out…of course, I was there pick them u[ and try to make them work.  I got pretty good at using a cigarette lighter to heat the top of the pen and get them to work…if even for ten minutes!

I used the next few hours to take down the blueberry garden meaning I took down the bird nets, cleaned out the dead plants, weeded the containers, and added some acidic soil to the pots.  They are going into hibernation and will be pretty bare until spring time.  It took me about three hours!  We eat tones of blueberries as blueberries have the highest antioxidant of all fruits and vegetables.

The the late afternoon we watched some NCIS and then got cleaned uop and popped over the Old Ranch for a drink.  We sat there four 90 minutes sipping our non-alcoholic wine and beer and watching the world go by!  Great fun!

I can klll of a six pack and almost make it home without having to stop to tinkle!

We watched a movie and some NCIS before crashing!  Sue hit the sack early while I stayed up for another 40 minutes getting the web pages ready for the next Starlighters and Toppers dinner dances.  Yes, after ten years I am still taking the pictures!  It takes a good hour or more to set up the pages, acquire the images, and established the navigation!
