We also rested in the beginning of the day because we knew what was coming tonight! Malarkey’s Big Bang On The Bay! A fireworks extravaganza put on by Malarkey’s Irish Grill!
Irene and Michael joined us and we belly laughed for many hours culminating in the firework spectacular. Join the fun!
Greg was supposed to have joined us but a summer cold got him sidelined! We missed him but our show went on… and it was quite a show!
We just simply enjoyed the evening… The buffet was fantastic (poor Vicky missed out on the seafood), the service was wonderful (Leslie, daughter of Jenn, served us), the staff was super and Oscar the wonder-man made the day perfect even moving us mid-evening to a quieter location in the restaurant… Our old ears can’t deal with the millennials and their screaming, yelling and questionable behaviors.
Did You Know? According to Iconoclast, a consumer research firm, the first Millennials were born in 1978. Newsweek magazine reported that the Millennial generation was born between 1977 and 1994. In separate articles, the New York Times pegged the Millennials at 1976-1990 and 1978-1998.
At 9:00 PM we stepped away from our table by about 50 feet the saw great fireworks! We were just a few hundred feet from ground zero. We saw the fire boat moving back and forth ready to spew out 250,000 gallons or sea water a minute should a spark go in the wrong direction!
When the evening was over, we all headed for our cars… We did a 180 degree turn when we saw the parking lot so loaded! We returned to the scene of the crime and had another drink so the traffic would clear out. An hour later and we simply drove right out the gate without a problem! Who says the ancients are not smart?
