We Had A “Full Day”

After getting up and having tea, we puttered around the house for two hours.  Paul rototilled around the base of the Lime and Kumquat trees so as to be able to put in fertilizer.

After coming in, Sue had a lunch suggestion.  “How about the Himalayan Grill”  she said! Paul immediately agreed and we were off like a flash.  We had a great meal and it is funny as they know exactly what we want.  We sat down at the same time as some others and we got our wine and meal without anymore that a “hello, good to see you” to the staff.  We told the other table how often we come!

We really enjoy their food as it is safe and tasty!

We got to the restaurant at 12:15 PM but had to be on the road quickly in order to get to Downtown Disney by 3:15 PM as we are planning to see “Beauty and the Beast” in Downtown Disney with the Duda’s.  We dropped our left-overs by the house first as the leftovers will make two more complete meals for us!

We did not speed as Disneyland to our home is 9.8 miles!  We arrived at Disneyland at 2:30 PM so we went to the theater and got the tickets and proceeded inside to reserve some seats.  Via text message, we were alerted of the arrival of the kids!  Great timing… Just enough to get a coke for the show.

How about WOW!

We discussed the changes in the movie from the animated version, and there were several. Belle’s mother, as the live-action movie explains that she died when Belle was very young. They go back in time and discover Belle’s mother died of the plague.

The reveal occurs when the Beast shows Belle a magical book that lets them travel to anywhere in the world, and she wishes to see her childhood home in Paris with fresh eyes. The two then discover a beak-shaped plague mask, and Belle later reassures Maurice about the truth he was never able to discuss.

Off to Catal for a drink and a snack.  Paul and Bob did the French dip (they split it) and we polished off a couple of wines before heading to the parade. Sue and Robin attacked their wine supply.

We arrived in “The NICK of time”

Off to the train station where we awaited the arrival of the parade!

Thirty minutes of non-stop lights and music!

Show is over and everyone (who works) must go home leaving us to go to Catal and visit the bar staff.

We really enjoyed the event

We went back to Catal and did another wine before heading for home. We watch Cheers after geeting home at 11:00 PM and stayed up until 1:30 AM laughing at the dialogue.

About Paul
