Himalayan Grille And A Dinner Party

We finally got up after staying up all night.  Jon and Paul took a nice long walk to loosen up.  We then headed to Irvine to pick up Connor so he could join us at the Himalayan Grille for lunch with Pete, Jon, Mitch and Luisa. Connor had not had any Himalayan food previously (he has done Indian at Kamal Palace)  so he was a bit wary of the tandori chicken (because it was red).  He did seem to enjoy some of the other items.

Just us!

Luisa and Mitch were in a seat with the glare from the sidewalk behind them meaning… the pictures were terrible so….

We worked around the house for a while meaning Paul was digging in the garden spreading the perlite in the final area. We then headed to Kyle and Tiffany’s home in Long Beach to have dinner.  We really enjoyed seeing them as normally they are with a group and we just get to say “hi” and “bye”.  We had three hours of sharing and laughing and catching up on everything!

The sun was setting

The sun was setting over Palos Verdes.  It looked like it was on fire!

The moon was coming out

The moon was coming out and it looked like we might get some rain but alas, no rain!

We decided to go home and crash and recover from our “all nighter” the evening/morning Jon flew in!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
