About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.

OMG!!!  It is 5:45 am, and Alexa woke us up with two men screaming, “Hey, Wake Up!” and “Get Out of Bed!” at the top of their collective lungs!  It was not an accident; we had to be up so we … Continue reading

The Weak Beginith! We Are Ready!

It’s Moanday, and this we know because the work GYM (a most frightening word at our age) showed up on the “what do we do today” list!   After our five-mile bike ride and getting beaten up by professionals, we will … Continue reading

The Battle Continues; So Far, Christmas Three, Mary & Paul One

We were up at the crack of dawn, we put on our clothes, and were eager to take back the house from Christmas.  However, one look at the work to be done made us both pass out in sheer fear … Continue reading

Goodby Christmas, See You Next Year!

Oh my!  The big job began this morning: packing up Christmas decorations and getting them ready for storage.  The question is, how do we get 100 pounds of %#$&# into a 50-pound bag?? We had a load of fun decorating, … Continue reading

Happy Tooth Of January 2026

Today, we turned the speed knob back to a mere 60 MPH after a month on the go! Our first activity was to sit in the rain on bleachers and watch two soccer games starring the Liles’ Brothers. Joe operated … Continue reading
