Smacked Upside The Head… Reality Checks In

We had, what we thought, was a simple procedure to do an angiogram and likely a angioplasty.  The tests returned bad news… The artery feeding the left side of Sue’s heart was 90% blocked and the location was NOT suitable for a simple stent.  Open heart surgery time!

Del (not shown), Vicky and Robin were at the hospital bright and early at 6:00 am

The culprit is shown below…. If you can see the narrowing artery in the upper left-hand corner of the picture, that is the little guys causing the problems.  Thank you tobacco!

Two arteries are blocked which means open heart surgery ASAP

Sooooo…. Our social life will be  curtailed significantly so we will likely not post to the DAILY DIARY like normal.

Normal position for the next two weeks.... I wanna play golf

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
