One Great Sunday!

We began by going to church and it was really good.  After church we headed for Old Ranch for lunch with Ted & Audry Conlin and Brian & Jan Finch.  Ted flew P51’s in WWII and Brain is a graphic artist who draws aircraft.  Jan and Audrey are from the UK.  The lunch was a great exchange!

Brian and Ted swap stories

Jan & Audry share the latest

We headed for the Elks after lunch so we can dance for for several hours!

The Elks at Newport was beautiful... It missed the rain!

We headed for home and it was an interesting trip with the weather changing quickly.

We took the coast home

When we got home, we watched TV movies for a while.  We first saw “Red“. Summary: When his idyllic life is threatened by a high-tech assassin, former black-ops agent Frank Moses reassembles his old team in a last ditch effort to survive.

After “Red” we saw”Backyard Wedding” on the Hallmark channel.  Summary: The film centers on Kim Tyler, who is set to have the wedding of her dreams in her parents’ backyard, but her ex-husband and first love, whose parents happen to live next door, keeps popping up.

A feel good movie... We rooted for the ex=husband!

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
