Never Always On Sunday

We began the day with church which we really enjoy. The Pastor is super and the messages often hit home… Maybe a little too close.

Just a few blocks away from our home

After church we went home, did a few small chores, fed the babies and took off for Newport Harbor Elks where we dance from 2:00 until about 4:15.  Oscar was there providing great entertainment.

We danced for two hours to super music!

Even though they play until 5:00, we had to get to the Santa Ana Elks so we could save a spot for the gang for the Jam Session! The Jam session was on fire tonight…. Hreat sounds and anotgher four hours of dacing.

Sue, Paul and Bob. We haven't seen Bob for nearly 25 hours! Got to catch up!

The sounds and singers were great!

We danced until our feet hurt

Did You Know? – A jam session is a musical act where musicians play (i.e. “jam”) by improvising without extensive preparation or predefined arrangements.

Jam sessions are often used to develop new material, find suitable arrangements, or simply as a social gathering and communal practice session. Jam sessions may be based upon existing songs or forms, may be loosely based on an agreed chord progression or chart suggested by one participant, or may be wholly improvisational. Jam sessions can range from very loose gatherings of amateurs to sophisticated improvised recording sessions intended to be edited and released to the public.

About Paul

Just an old retired guy trying to finish out my last years on this planet. I lost my best friend and wife in early 2020. I was blessed again by reconnecting with Dr. Mary Côté, a long-time friend. Mary and I got married July 28th, 2021, and are enjoying life together and plan to spend the rest of our lives being a blessing to our friends and family.
