Today was shocking, AAA Calvert (an OUTSTANDING electrical company located in Long Beach) came to town, and the third day of electrical activity began at 7:30 AM when Eddie arrived. Eddie, the leadman, arrived early as he lives close by. He loves this job because it is so much easier than driving into Long Beach!
After a week of delicious Mary creations, I got cleaned up and decided I would weigh myself. Oops, the scale lies!
The AAACalvert team got the power subpanels done in the attic and the garage and wired the two backyard sheds. All the labeling was completed, so now I know what breaker does! Yeah!
We went to the gym at 3:00 PM and did an hour’s workout. Returning home, we cleaned up and headed to the Santa Ana Elks at 5:00 PM. We arrived ahead of Robin, Bob, and Nick, so we had a drink and downed an appetizer.
We got a chance to visit with Bill. The girls compare outfits; Mary is wearing one of Colleen’s blouses and likes it.
Bill makes a couple of calls; this one is to Colleen, asking if she will be there tonight.
Dinner was served as, as usual, it was outstanding! The swordfish was so excellent.
Bill is happy to have Colleen and Nick join the lodge this evening. Nick brings the average age down to 65! Colleen helped that along also!
After the ceremony, we had a glass of wine before going home. Mary told me to put on my glasses when I could not read the menu! I did just as she said!
Dang! I had to begin behaving; not an easy task for me!
Bob and I won two of the drawings in the meeting. Bob took the vin,o and I took the Scotch!
By 9:30 PM, we here heading home and crashed. It was a great day having two more Elks! I had to laugh at this one!
