A bartender is just a pharmacist with a limited inventory
I slept like a rock last night… I did not get up until 7:30 AM and had to made a dead run for the little boys room! Sue was up just after me and we both had a glass of champagne to get our engines started! I worked in the puzzle a bit but this one is really a pain!
Off to the market to get the necessities of life…ice cream, blue berries, milk, and tookie dough! We fiddled around the house with Sue reading and me doing some file cabinet cleanup! I found the pink slips to the cars, tax returns form the late 1980’s, and stuff like that…it’s all filed properly now!
We went to the urologist and he specified a diet to include pro-biotics so it appears yogurt is on our future. We returned home an awaited bewitching hour…4:30 PM tp be exact and headed to PAtty’s Place for a drink. I broke down and had fish and chips…which, BTW, were really good.
Did You Know? Serving fish and chips in newspaper kept prices low, but in the 1980s it was ruled unsafe for food to be touching newspaper ink. Now fish and chips are wrapped in a layer of greaseproof paper, and then a layer of newspaper if wished.
The shop trades under the name ‘The Oldest Fish & Chip Shop in the World’. It is believed that fish and chips have been served from the premises continually since 1865.
We returned home and watched TV until about 10:30 PM and then crashed.
