Another great day on our cruise! We took it easy and spent some quality time together at a leisurely pace. One of the highlights was ordering "Breakfast On The Veranda" and it did not disappoint.
We were pleasantly surprised when the knock at the door came right on time at 7:00 am. The waiter who delivered our breakfast was very courteous and set everything up for us. We enjoyed our meal and then headed out for the day's activities.
She looks like an Angel at 7 am!
He poured the champagne and kept bringing food in!
Our waiter took some great pictures of us!
The bubbly was flowing bright and early today!
"I need Coffee"
"I have to get the heart started!"
Coffee and champagne, a delightful mixture
The view was spectacular!
It got cold outside so we brought breakfast inside!
Paul's favorite! A calorie free breakfast, mostly.
Did You Know? - Lox is a fillet (or strip) of brined salmon.
Brining (preserving food with salt) is similar to curing, but takes a lot less time.
Lox, which is commonly often served on bagels with cream cheese, was traditionally made from the belly of the fish. These days, other parts of the fish can be used.
Food was stacked everywhere!
OMG, when is lunch???
The fruit was prepared perfectly.
Pastries galore!
We had the pleasure of visiting a new spot on board the ship called The Sanctuary. It's actually part of the spa, and it's located at the bow of the ship, up on the 17th deck. The view is absolutely breathtaking - a full 180-degree panorama of the ocean!
And to top it off, there's a private pool and hot tub to soak in. It's important to note that this area is exclusively for guests 18 and up, so it's definitely a peaceful and serene escape from the rest of the ship. Highly recommend checking it out if you get the chance!
We made reservations for an afternoon at the Sanctuary!
It was quiet this morning!
Food items and tea is served up here in the afternoon!
We went down one deck and had a drink before lunch... Hey, it's 5:00 pm somewhere, right?
After that great breakfast we just went for snacks!
Yes, they are sardine fillets!
Caught, you would think we were newly weds!
Oops! I forgot, we are!
Let's finish off our wine and then rest before dinner!
Stanley and Mary crashed... Paul worked on the Daily Diary!
Hard at work!

Is Paul lucky or what?

A toast top start dinner off!
First comes the canapes!
We can't forget Stanley!
A cheese tart was next and the little tomatoes were peeled!!
Then came a salad that could have been the main course!
Paul is getting jealous!
He will sleep tonight!!
Surf and turf; our waiter removed the tail from the shell!
Surf and Turf!!! The asparagus and small potatoes were am excellent addition!
The food was warm and prepared perfectly
Over the teeth and through the gums; look out tonsils, here it comes!

We went out after dinner and tried to dance off the meal but alas, we were filled to the top!
