Day Five (Tuesday 1/14/2024) - The Rainmaker Came Forward!
Hello! Rain, rain, go away, come back some other day… like this coming Sunday! It began to rain last night around 9:00 pm, and it rained continually all day. Sometimes a mist and other times a torrential downpour.
OH MY! The Rain Gods must be angry!
The winds were blowing everything around.
Mary made it to class without getting wet; I stayed in bed until the rain calmed down.
By 7:00 am is was tolerable!
Everything was wet!
Walking under a tree was dangerous!
I started off easy!
Then the Omelet Chef saw me and unloaded!
The rain started and stopped and started and stopped and.....
The umbrella helped!
All smile even when wet!
"OK Paul, shall we run??"
Good call, let's wait a bit.
On the bright side, everything is clean!
Including our sock and shoes!
Down she goes!
We had it to the room and watched the rain all afternoon!
We made it back to the pool bar and we ordered a pizza and a glass of wine and watched the rain come pouring down. The place was pretty busy with soggy people coming and going.
Their pizza's were amazing.
