Page 5 (9/30) - Day Two In Ba Haba
Mary had an early arrival time but at 3:00 PM she was free to roam with me. Luckily, I had already canvassed the areas and was able to take her to the good tourist traps!
I, however, started with breakfast at the hotel as Mary trotted off to class.
A he man's meal!
I sent back their first try They thought I ordered a "Happy Meal"
The stores were nicely decorated.
It was Saturday and not too busy at 8:00 AM.
The Moose and I had a long conversation. His brother prefers outside.
Smile!
His trick is that he can change colors.
I was missing Mary so...
I walked several of the side streets and they were decorated also.
Mexican restaurant in Maine? Yes, indeed! The restaurant was staffed by several Jamacians so the food was spicey!
Did You Know? - JALAPEÑOS CANTINA & MEXICAN GRILL serves delicious, family-style Mexican food, cooked to order. Our menu features popular specialties like our homemade chips and salsa, guacamole and cheesy roasted pepper queso. Grab a specialty margarita and some bacon wrapped jalapeños or Corona Jons nachos at our bar.
They feature sizzling fajitas, crispy taco salads, enchiladas, burritos, chimichangas, and tacos with your choice of zesty fillings. They also have a wide variety of vegetarian options.
I chose among dozens of tequilas or try one of our tequila flights. Enjoy a margarita prepared with one of our house-made infusions or one of our other specialty drinks.
I tried their electronic teller and withdrew; money just like at home!
First thing was to walk to the pier!
Mary enjoyed the flowers
The tide was out but there was no fishy smell!
Our boats were out on tour but they will return by 6:00 PM for the "Sunset Cruise"
The piers have been in use for 100 years.
We decided to have a drink first!
You guessed it, Paddy's Bar and Grille!
Smoooooch! I had not seen her on a few hours!
We met some nice folks who took out picture.
We laughed a lot.
Remember, "Poop runs down hill!!" We stayed away from this establishment.
The cone was a little big for her.
We went in and out of many stores.
Mr. Moose was happy to see Mary!
We sent this to Becky!
Flowers everywhere!
Guess where we ended up for dinner?
Lobster Quesadilla!
It was terrific!
We put out the fire with a margarita!
I was bad and taught here the Liles Family trick!
She read the sign after changing in front of a street full of people.
That called for another stop at Paddy's/
We met up with a group of Indians who were delightful!
Our table afterwards.
Great fun!
Mary met a bird on the way home!
The birds are quite friendly.
