Day 1 - We flew out of LAX to Philadelphia, then hopped aboard a puddle jumper to Bangor, Maine—because apparently one flight wasn't enough adventure. After checking into the hotel, we set out in search of food and finally found The Whale, a grueling two LONG blocks away. We made it, though barely.
Day 2 - Robin and I walked around town canvassing the shops and eateries. Mary got out of class a little early so we walked around town and ended up at the Conference Lobster Bake!
Day 3 - Mary went to class while Robin and I bumbled around town. We had breakfast at the grill across the street from the hotel and then caught a private tour bus to see Acadia National Forest.
Day 4 - Mary went off to school and Robin and I again visited various shops around the town after we loaded the car up with the baggage (no easy task). We picked up Mary at noon and headed to Dover New Hampshire. We went to Colleens home and visited family before going to the Inn. We met up with Jackie, Cassie, Jackie, Sarah, Job, Callan, Emee, Ashton, and Logann . Everyone brought their own favorite pizza.
Day 5 - We were up early and had breakfast at the inn. After devouring our breakfast, we headed to Colleen's house and met up with Colleen and Cassie. As an added surprise, both Jon and Sarah joined us for the day! We departed Dover for the Wright Museum of WWII at 77 Center St, Wolfeboro, NH 03894. The drive was a bit wet, but the colors made up for the moisture.
Day 6 - We were off to Boston to see Paul Revere's home and then to lunch at Cheers!
Day 7 - Today is Scary Day. We went to Salem and visited the Witch's Museum before wandering around Salem and having a great lunch at Rockefellers.
Day 8 - We visited an aerospace museum and ended up picking apples. We had a late lunch along the way so no dinner tonight.
Day 9 - A fun family day! We went to High Tea at the Inn with the little girls and then off to Colleen's house to make a mess of her kitchen, cookies!
Day 10 - Robin departs town and we go to a football and cheer session at the local high school. #18 stole the day! The cheer ladies did a magnificent job!
Day 11 - Family dinner with everyone at the Holy Grail restaurant. It was a magnificent send off.
Day 12 - We flew home with Colleen, Mark, and Jon seeing us off!
