July 4th Is Our Favorite!
It is the day of our country's birth, July 4th and we are celebrating in Garden Grove with our kids and friends of the family!
We start the celebration by gathering together and dining on something special .
We then go out front and see the neighborhood parade .
In Garden Grove, fireworks are still legal (imagine that???). So we light off the bunch of fireworks with the aid of the supervised teenagers!
We have a full day of visiting with family and friends and go home with a full tummy thinking about how great a nation we have and how lucky we are to live in this age!
Red Seems To Be The Dominate Color!
Independence Day is commonly associated with fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals, picnics, baseball games, and various other public and private events celebrating the history, government, and traditions of the United States, but is often also viewed as simply a summer festival, apart from its patriotic overtones
Mitch, Paul & Sue in the back yard supervising the roast on the spit!
The spit held an entire side of beef and the smells were absolutely wonderful!
