Time to go to Prom with your #1. We all met up at the Lodge and passed through the time-warp into the past at about 6:00 pm. The music was wonderful and we danced all night long.

Did You Know? - A promenade dance or promenade, commonly called a prom in American English, is a dance party for high school students. It may be offered in semi-formal black tie or informal suit for boys, and evening gowns for girls. This event is typically held near the end of the school year.
NOTE TO SELF: It is OK to act like a High School person this evening!

We be sequined this evening.
Did You Know? - In the 1930s, sequins were made of gelatin from animal carcasses because the material could be rolled into sheets and punched into shapes. The problem was that gelatin melts when too much heat is applied, and it also dissolves in water.
We are never "board".
Did You Know? - Sewing gold, coins or sequins onto clothing became a symbol of wealth or status, and in some parts of the world was used to ward off evil spirits. As centuries passed, sequins came to serve new functions. During the 1920s, flapper dresses were often embellished with sequins to reflect the glamour of the age.
The dancing goes on!
