Time To Dance At The Jam Session 9/26/2012
We are very lucky having such a fantastic group of friends... People we see all the time, do things together with, dance, and laugh out loud. We are across the spectrum in many aspects in life but the times we are together are just SPECIAL.
When we meet, no one can guess where the conversations will go... but one thing is for sure, the event will end with big smiles on out faces, happy's in our tummy's, and a great desire to do it again sooon! God Bless Our Friends!! Audio

Did You Know? - History of White Castle and History of McDonald's
- 1921 — White Castle , Wichita, Kansas . Due to widely prevalent anti-German sentiment in the U.S. during World War I , an alternative name for hamburgers was Salisbury steak . Following the war, hamburgers became unpopular until the White Castle restaurant chain marketed and sold large numbers of small 2.5-inch square hamburgers, known as sliders. They started to punch five holes in each patty, which help them cook evenly and eliminates the need to flip the burger. White Castle began in 1995 selling frozen hamburgers in convenience stores and vending machines.
- 1940 — McDonald's restaurant, San Bernardino, California , opened by Richard and Maurice McDonald . Their introduction of the" Speedee Service System " in 1948 established the principles of the modern fast-food restaurant . The McDonald brothers began franchising in 1953. In 1961, Ray Kroc (the supplier of their multi-mixer milkshake machines) purchased the company from the brothers for $2.7 million and a 1.9% royalty.

Did You Know? - Heineken Lager Beer was first brewed by Gerard Adriaan Heineken in 1873. The beer is made of purified water, malted barley, hops, and yeast. In 1886 H. Elion finished the development of the Heineken A-yeast, which is still used in the brewing process today.

Did You Know? - In the 1930s, musician and inventor Paul Tutmarc from Seattle, Washington, developed the first electric string bass in its modern form, a fretted instrument designed to be held and played horizontally. The 1935 sales catalog for Tutmarc's electronic musical instrument company, Audiovox, featured his "Model 736 Bass Fiddle", a four-stringed, solid-bodied, fretted electric bass instrument with a 30½-inch scale length. The alteration to a "guitar" form made the instrument easier to hold and transport, and the addition of frets enabled bassists to play in tune more easily. Around 100 of these instruments were made during this period.
Around 1947, Tutmarc's son, Bud, began marketing a similar bass under the Serenader brand name, prominently advertised in the nationally distributed L.D. Heater Co. wholesale jobber catalogue of '48. However, the Tutmarc family inventions did not achieve market success.
