We Are Doing What??? (Page Seven) - Say "Yes Dear!"
Donna was licensed to marry people and did so with one of her clients. She had fun and thought she ought to do it again. Paul suggested Avalon since we will all be dressed up before dinner and the big dance.... A match made in heaven!
Donna did a beautiful service and fun was had by all! Join the fun!
The Vows As Prepared And Ready By Donna
We have gathered together today 26 miles across the sea on the island of love and romance as friends who share the same love of good times and social dancing. We thought that the Art Deco Ball might be the perfect location and occasion for a renewal of Vows Ceremony.
There are many among us today who have celebrated 40 plus years of wedding anniversaries and know too well what it takes to make a lasting marriage. But no matter the length of our marriages, we all have a true understanding of our initial spoken wedding vows, "in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer."
Let this renewal of those wedding vows serve as a re-commitment to our beloved spouse that when all is said and done, we would choose them all over again.
Now, please face your partner and prepare for the wedding ring exchanges:
First – Husband to Wife
Say the name of your spouse, then "For years you have walked beside me and have been my loving support. I recommit my love and life to you on this day and forevermore."
Now – Wife's to Husband
Say the name of your spouse, then "For years you have walked beside me and have been my loving support. I recommit my love and life to you on this day and forevermore."
With the power vested in me from the State of California I now re-pronounce you all to be remarried to your partner and the Love of Your Life!
I propose a toast to us all in the Renewal of our Wedding Vows.
Donna Z.
