2023-12-19 - Bonnie Comes For A Visit!
Welcome to Orange, Califonria!
Bonnie is Mary's college roommates daughter and the sister of the surgeon that did my prostatechomy! She lives in Camirillo and wanted to come visit us; always a lot of fun! The kids came with her and we kept them quite busy!
We began the day with a quick visit to the Gym before Bonnie arrives!
Anthony checked me in and is readying me for a few months of workouts!
We exchange iPhone notes before each session. Today I showed him my latest app that replaced the background with that from Christmas!
Anthony got me a new bathroom scale permanently set at 185 pounds, just in case!
This is before, or, is it after....Hard to tell!
We had pizza and more pizza!
Down the hatch!
Big smiles!
We got everyone this time!
Before!
After! Poof! As if in magic!!
Samta studies the map!
Mary now has a butterfly house!
Did You Know? - Placement of tjhe house is important! Place your butterfly house in a sunny but sheltered spot so that it is protected from the wind. It should be around four to six feet above the ground and near nectar-rich flowers which will act as a good food source for visiting butterflies.
A butterfly house, conservatory, or lepidopterarium is a facility which is specifically intended for the breeding and display of butterflies with an emphasis on education. Some butterfly houses also feature other insects and arthropods.
She carefully reads the instructions; she must be a girl!
We share our most recent picture books!
While we do keep lots of pictures on-line, we also make books for occasions like this!
Full tummy, time to stretch!
Wise ol' Scout, he stays outside.
Getting ready to go home!
They will be tired for sure!
Splash time!
The rain cloudes are forming in the west!
The rain is on it's way!!
The water is 95 degrees year around.
Bonnie and Mary, a force to dealt with!
Bonnie was been a friend of Mary's for a long time... her whole life!
Our flowers bloomed late this year!
"OK kids, time to get out and ready to go home!"
"Shhhhhh - I am listening for elephant footsteps!"
"I hear an elephant sneaking into the vegetable garden!"
