After Visiting, We Kicked Off The Entertainment (Page Two)
With this group one must always expect the unexpected!
Our dear friends and outstanding MC's, Donna and Bob
Did You Know? - MC is an initialism for master of ceremonies or mic controller.
Did You Know? - Many years ago while building our family website, I would get curious about a topic. So, onn the page (as you see above), I would add a box entitled "Did You Know" and in those boxes I would research the topic of interest and put in a blurb about that topic...perhaps a defintion, perhaps a short history, perhaps trivia. So, Collen, Michele, and Robin made little "Did You Know" cards and placed them in center o the table...each guest read out loud a "Did You Know".
Pick out a card with a "Did You Know"
While everyone was getting ready, our dear neighbor and friend Vicky
read a poem she wrote...always delightful
Vicky says "You have some 'splain' to do"!
Vicky gave me a little bell and everytime I go to the food line, it will ring!
Bob says pack it in cotton and all will be OK
Sammy captured the moment(s)
If these guys were Laurel and Hardy, who would be whom?
(Yes, it is a trick question!)
Two great (and slightly dimented) minds workig in unison
Thank you Vicky for the kind words
Look... I can have a drink...coffee?
Colleen raided the website and brought back a lot of memories
Black balloons?
Bob suggested a 55 gallon drum of aviation fuel,
thank goodness he was over ruled by Donna
That's me in the center about 1953 after Dad returned form a Deep Sea
fishing trip with family
Cousins on the Liles side of the family
Donna gets a special hug for avoiding a major fire
Did You Know? - Dinosaurs are a diverse group of reptiles of the clade Dinosauria. They first appeared during the Triassic period, between 243 and 233.23 million years ago, although the exact origin and timing of the evolution of dinosaurs is the subject of active research. They became the dominant terrestrial vertebrates after the Triassic–Jurassic extinction event 201.3 million years ago; their dominance continued through the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods. The fossil record demonstrates that birds are modern feathered dinosaurs, having evolved from earlier theropods during the Late Jurassic epoch. As such, birds were the only dinosaur lineage to survive the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event approximately 66 million years ago. Dinosaurs can therefore be divided into avian dinosaurs, or birds; and non-avian dinosaurs, which are all dinosaurs other than birds.
Roaring out of the back froom comes "Joe The Dinosaur"
