It's 12/17 And We Are Off To The Nutcracker With Marianne And Craig
Off we go into a whirlwind! We began with a great lunch at Seasons 52 where Paul, as usual, did the trout! Marianne and Craig joined us for lunch before we went across the street to the OC Performing Arts Center to see "The Nutcracker".
Today there was a cast of more than 100 performers which took us on a dreamlike adventure, amid colorful, larger-than-life scenery, dancing toy soldiers, mischievous mice, sparkling snowflakes, and a glittering Christmas tree!
The ballet began at 2:00 and was over about 4:30. We tried the Center Club but there were not open yet.
An excellent performance it was!
Change Of Venue... Fullerton Elks Lodge And The Alley Cats
From the ballet to the Elks... Quite a change in venue. We were joined by Vicky's cousin Gilbert and his wife Carol plus the Roberts and Zaitz... Better company one could not have.
Mariane and Craig also go tickets but did not mention Vicky's name so they sat at a different location from us.
